Admissions for Nursery (all four CBS Campuses – Main Campus, Beliaghata Campus, Sonarpur Campus &
Asansol Campus) for the Academic Session 2025-2026 will open from Friday 1st August 2024. Parents
seeking Admission of their wards into Nursery of the above mentioned campuses may please follow the

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Class Nursery: (All four campuses of CBS) Age of Candidates for Nursery should be 4+ as
on
April 2025 (ie, born between 1st July 2020 – 1st July 2021). Those candidates who do not
fulfil
this basic criteria will be disqualified.
The Admission Forms will be available on the website of the respective campuses from
Thursday, 1st August to Saturday 31st August, 2024.
The Admission Form will be available on the website of Calcutta Boys’ School on the dates specified.
Upon submission of the admission form online , a payment of Rs 1000/- will have to be made online to
complete the form submission process.
Each Admission Form is registered against a specific candidate and is non-transferable.
Please upload the following documents online, while filling up all the details in the Application
Form:
a) Self-attested photocopy of the candidate’s birth certificate from the Kolkata Municipal
Corporation
or equivalent body.
b) Self-attested photocopy of Parents’ Aadhar Card.
A print-out of the Admission Form and payment receipt along with self-attested copies of the
following documents properly stapled and put in a sealed envelope should be dropped in the
collection box at the respective school campuses by Sunday, 1st September, 2024.

The following self-attested documents must be submitted along with the admission form.

Formal family photograph (POST CARD SIZE) of the Father, Mother and the
candidate ONLY.
- Self-attested photocopy of the candidate’s birth certificate from the Kolkata Municipal
Corporation or equivalent body.
- Self-attested photocopy of the discharge certificate from the Institution where the child
was born.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Immunization Certificate.
- Self-attested photocopy of candidate’s Aadhaar card.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Baptism Certificate, duly attested by the Pastor-in-Charge
(in the case of Christian candidates).
- Self-attested photocopy of SC/ST/OBC certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidate).
- Self-attested photocopy of the ISC/ ICSE Certificate issued by the Council (in case of
ex-students of the Calcutta Boys’ School).
- Self-attested photocopy of Parents salary certificate or IT return form.
- Self-attested photocopy of Parents KYC (Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving Licence)
APPLICATION FORMS WITH INCOMPLETE INFORMATION / DOCUMENTS OR WHERE THE INSTRUCTIONS HAVE NOT BEEN
ADHERED TO, WILL BE REJECTED.
CAUTION
- Candidates who fall in Category A i.e. (a) Christians & Anglo-Indians (b) sons of CBS & CGHS
Staff (c) sons of ex-students of CBS only and (d) those who have own brothers (not ‘cousin
brothers’) studying in Calcutta Boys' School are given preference. However, selection for
admission is not guaranteed for all. They must fulfil all criteria, by the specified time and
must fare well at the interaction.
- Boys appearing for the Nursery Admission are not permitted private tuition from any staff member
of this school. Discovery of any such arrangement will lead to disqualification of the candidate
concerned.
- No middle men will be entertained.
- The school does not accept any donations or other gifts in lieu of admissions.
- Any attempt to influence the decision of the Principal in the form of photocopies of application
forms (directly or to any employee of the School or to any other person), gifts or letters of
recommendation will adversely affect the child’s chances of being selected for admission. Please
remember that a deserving candidate will lose his chance for admission if any such attempt is
made. Please help the school in the task of fair and unbiased selection.
- A child is not admitted on the basis of merit or intelligence only. Our aim is to select a
cross-section of all communities and classes.
