Dear Students, Colleagues & Members of the CBS fraternity! Welcome to the New Academic year 2024-25. Safely through another year, God has brought us on our way. With grateful hearts we proclaim, "He has done all things well! (St. Mark 7:37)."
Truly, this new academic year comes as an opportunity for us to join as one community and thank God for His 'abundant grace' that we have finally emerged from the pernicious "pandemic" years and continue to progress "from strength to strength and victory to victory."
147 years and counting, CBS has endeavoured to imbue respect, tolerance, resilience and competence in her sons, stimulating them to augment their skills and finally emerge strong-both academically and spiritually. It is here in school that they learn to express, create, explore, inspire, innovate and above all inculcate a concern for others blended with a desire to do good in this world, the mark of a "CBSite at heart" and a true manifestation of "Dei Mundus Dei."
Dear Students, being part of this rich heritage and nurture of CBS, you are expected to honour, maintain and uphold her traditions, values and high academic and moral standards which render virtues like respect, courtesy (in words and deed), good manners and fair play, amalgamated with perseverance in studies ipso facto obligation for all her students.
As you commence the new academic session overwhelmed with excitement to embrace the future and equipped by the 'CBS nurture' to realise the infinite possibility it holds, I sincerely pray for the Almighty's blessings upon all your endeavours and academic pursuits. May each one of you achieve outstanding academic results, brilliant success in games and sports, and a spectacular display of creativity in the performing arts. Be your best and move closer to your dreams, transforming them to reality!
Over the past few years, we have been working on the Development Plans for our Branch Campuses at Asansol & Beliaghata. God willing, both these projects, viz. the Affiliation of CBS Asansol Campus and the construction of the New School Building for CBS Beliaghata Campus will materialize in this academic year 2024-25. It has been a collaborative effort and I am delighted that all members of the CBS family have contributed towards a vision that will sustain and support the development of CBS and her extension campuses well into the future
2023-24 had been an exceptional year in so many regards. Last year's curricular achievements and high academic results translated in CBS being awarded the 8th Best Boys' School in India by Education World. These achievements would not have been possible without the diligence and ardour of our dedicated team of teachers. What really elevates and distinguishes CBS as a community is the commitment of my colleagues (across all four campuses of CBS). May God bless you all as you continue to give your best for 'our boys'.
My heartfelt thanks to the Members of the DIA, the Parents community and the Members of the Management for their cooperation and support. Your encouragement and wise counsel motivate us to excel.
Proud of our achievements as an educational institution and content by the happy realization that we are members of a community which is friendly, kind and compassionate, the CBS fraternity, at the start of the academic session 2024-25, renews her commitment to serve the Lord and Saviour, by preparing "the world of God: for God (Dei Mundus Deo)".
